Ok. Its been awhile. Ive been a busy person.

So here is an end table I found for $5. In fact I have 2 more end tables Ill be posting. All of them cost me $5. Such a GREAT deal!!

Lamp gets a makeover.

Ive been wanting to do a makeover on a lamp. I found a wooden one and snagged it quickly!

Im not done with this lamp shade yet but I wanted to see how it would look. Im not even sure this is the one that will go onto this lamp yet.



Picture Frame

While doing my goodwill run I came across this lovely picture frame. I really dont need anymore but I did love it! With the frame and a Woody doll (Toy Story) I paid a total of $2.52

Storage Drawers

Well I must first say that I havent blogged in awhile because the kids and I took a trip to Hawaii to meet up with my husband. He was deployed for 6 months. The older kids got the oppertunity to do a tiger cruise and loved it!

Ok, so lets get onto my latest project.

Here is a few old wooden desk drawers. In the pic I have already put on the wood filler and sanded down where the holes were from the knobs

I just painted and did a little sanding. Once all that was done I added a metal book plate. (Thanks to Vicki)

Few Odd and Ends

I found these cool boxes at goodwill. I knew exactly how it would look once I painted it up!

I got this desk on my last pick. I forgot to get the "before" pics

I made Thad a few angry birds from pom poms. Who knew something so simple would entertain a child for hours? He loves these things!! I must add that Thad took these pictures himself.
